A free weekly newsletter for book lovers who adore getting lost in a story
How I add more joy, wonder, and adventure into my reading journey by bringing pieces of the story off the page and into my everyday life
Welcome to
The Book Nook is my bookish little corner of the internet.
It's a weekly email that feels a lot more like talking to someone you've met in person than someone you follow on social media. I'll share what I'm reading, what I think about it and any fun, quirky inspiration the story has given me.
When I say "bring the story off the page" I do not mean cosplay. 😅 Just a little touch of whimsy. If a character is eating cinnamon rolls, I've been known to bake (or order if I'm tired lol) cinnamon rolls. If the story is set in an old haunted house, I might spend an October afternoon wandering around a dusty antique store.
Little things that make reading feel even more vibey, immersive, and fun.
Whatever inspiration I get, I'm going to share it in The Book Nook... and hopefully some of those things will inspire you too!
I've loved books for as long as I can remember. Growing up, they were an escape from the chaos around me. I could get lost in another world for hours and I loved imagining what it would be like to experience some of the things was reading.
Over the past year, I've found my way back to reading and I've been having so much fun with it. I want to make more room for the things I enjoy simply because I enjoy them and The Book Nook has become a place where I can do just that.
I get to read, be creative, try things inspired by stories and share it all along the way. I'm excited to have a little space that's just for that and I'm glad you're here.
